Successor

The young man approached them at a brisk pace. “He's huge,” Aubreigh whispered. She sounded almost scared.

Zira smiled; she'd had the exact same reaction the first time she saw Jared. His hardened expression would have been unnerving on any man, but Jared's size and obvious strength only made him that much more intimidating. He was well over six feet tall, with a broad, muscular build and dark brown skin. He carried himself with strength and confidence, commanding respect wherever he went. He had a reputation for being unit E2s best operative, and it was already speculated that if anything ever happened to the Chairman, Jared would be the one to take over command of the unit.

Anyways, this guy deserves more art than he has....which could probably be said of all of my characters since I don't draw them very often, but Jared is my favorite.  And I finally found a decent face reference for him, so of course I had to do something based off that.  I got a little lazy with the clothes. I colored them right after I did all his hair (super easy---also super tedious and time consuming) so I guess I was just ready to be done.  Also I didn't even know what I wanted him to wear so it was just...meh.  It's not perfect and it's not exactly how I've always pictured him.  But it's significantly closer than anything else I've ever drawn of him, so that makes me happy.
